84 Julau tertiary students receive education aid
SARIKEI: A total of 84 students pursuing degrees from the Julau parliamentary constituency received RM500 in education aid each on Friday from member of parliament Larry Sng.
Sng said the aid under the Larry Sng Educational Fund was also extended to diploma and postgraduate students from his constituency.
He said they would receive the education aid next year.
During the function, Sng also presented minor rural project (MRP) funds totalling RM61,000 to 13 village security and development committees (JKKK).
He explained that the MRP funds were from the RM1 million allocated to him this year.
Sng added he would deposit MRP funds into the bank accounts of another 26 JKKKs soon.
