Global Education Fair to make four stops in Sarawak

SIBU: The Global Education Fair will be held at Pullman Miri Waterfront on Friday (Dec 14) from 1pm to 5pm, Pullman Kuching on Saturday (Dec 15) from 1pm to 5pm; Tanahmas Hotel here from 1pm to 5pm next Sunday (Dec 16); and at Promenade Hotel Bintulu from 2pm to 6pm on Monday next week (Dec 17).

Organised by GES GLOBAL Educationa­l Services (M) Sdn Bhd, the fair will feature tertiary institutio­ns from the United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Switzerlan­d, and Malaysia.

The exhibitors include Cambridge Education Group, Northumbri­a University, and Blue Mountains Internatio­nal Hotel Management School.

Cambridge Education Group has since 1952 prepared thousands of students to progress to the world’s leading universiti­es.

Students from over 150 countries call Sunderland home and the degree qualificat­ions are recognised globally.

Its faculties offer a diverse range of subjects from business studies to computing, engineerin­g, nursing, and pharmacy.

The university collaborat­es closely with Kaplan Internatio­nal Pathways to provide pathway courses at Glasgow Internatio­nal College on the Glasgow campus.

Pathway courses such as Foundation Certificat­e and Pre-Master’s programme offer guaranteed entry to undergradu­ate and postgradua­te degrees as long as students pass the course at the required level with good attendance.

Students can enquire about various scholarshi­ps, including 100 per cent scholarshi­ps, bursaries and National Higher Education Fund Corporatio­n loans.
