Elderly woman found dead in parking lot of condominium
KUCHING: A 61-year- old woman was found dead at the parking lot of a condominium at Jalan Tabuan Tranquility on Monday.
The body was found by her younger brother around 6.30pm, following a call from his other sister who informed him that the victim had fainted.
An ambulance from the Sarawak General Hospital ( SGH) Heart Centre was summoned to the scene, where paramedics pronounced the victim dead.
According to a source, the victim known only as Voong had complained to her siblings of chest pain and had sought medical treatment at a private hospital in Petra Jaya.
The body was later taken to the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) mortuary.
However, Voong’s family had requested that no post-mortem be conducted.
