KUCHING: The Hills ( previously known as Hills Shopping Mall) has announced the launch of a new brand and identity during the revealing of a signage ceremony here yesterday.

The Hills in a press statement said it strives towards creating a workplace community and lifestyle support whereby the local community can grow together.

Present at the ceremony were The Hills’ chief operating officer Lionel Ho, director Anny Hu, Permata Kenyalang director Rogina Hii, E-Heritage director Albert Hu, Pullman Cluster general manager for Pullman Miri Waterfront and Pullman Kuching Ishak Ibrahim and the Interhill Group staff members.

The Hills is strategically located at the top of Bukit Mata and adjacent to Pullman Hotel Kuching.

Situated right in the heart of Kuching, it is surrounded by key major offices, financial and educational institutions.

The 140,000 square feet twostorey property will provide a new lifestyle and community experience with its new Food Haven and food lounge, food and beverage outlets, fitness and wellness studios, as well as its upcoming new co-working space.

“In line with our mission in building a community, we are also committed to giving back to the community. We always believe in supporting local brands and talents and moving forward, we are also dedicated in creating a platform for local talents to showcase their work,” said Ho in the statement.

Besides offering retail spaces for food and beverage outlets, The Hills is now offering event spaces that are customisable to every need.

The Hills will also open its new food court coined as ‘Food Haven’ by the end of this year which will feature all the local and international cuisines at affordable price.

Food Haven patrons will enjoy a variety of dishes in the intrinsically- designed contemporary and comfortable interior environment.

Ho added: “Unlike any other properties in town, our new vision for The Hills is creating a one- stop centre for working professionals to not only gather and network but also relax and dine without missing out on wellness and fitness.

Meanwhile, The Hills will also be opening the Alti-Dude Climbing Gym and Studio 8 Fitness soon while the second phase will witness the transformation of the upper ground floor into a coworking space.
