DMS Kuching hosts ‘Study Abroad Info Day’ at Hilton today
KUCHING: Daniel Management Service ( DMS) Kuching is hosting its ‘Study Abroad Info Day’ at the Hilton Hotel from 1pm to 5pm today.
DMS focuses on overseas universities and institutions offering specialist degree and diploma programmes in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States.
“We choose to represent 15 unique institutions providing teaching and learning in career areas which has a high job demand.
“We are familiar with professional requirements and the recognition of specialist degrees such as Medicine, Law, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Engineering back home in Malaysia or in Singapore,” said a press release yesterday.
DMS has up to 30 years experience in education counselling, career advice and working overseas besides helping young people find their talent, and encouraging men and women into unique fields where they can be leaders.
“We offer a personalised service to students and their families,” the statement said.
Partial scholarships are available in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore Institutions.
These scholarships may be a oneoff merit scholarship or an annually renewable scholarship based on academic achievements.

Lasalle College of The Arts Singapore will have an ‘ Info Session’ from 3pm to 5pm given by Michelle Teo from Student Recruitment Office (Admissions) of the college.
Lasalle College of The Arts is Singapore’s only dedicated contemporary arts college which offers tuition grants and scholarships to Malaysian students.
International applicants are eligible for subsidised fees for full course duration of Diploma programmes under the Singapore Ministry of Education ( MOE) tuition grant.
New Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree students can apply for the prestigious Future Leader Scholarship for the first year of studies in Lasalle.
These funded places are available on a first- come first- served basis for entry into 2019, and applications should be submitted through DMS as soon as possible.
The full-time Diploma programmes are Animation, Audio Production, Broadcast Media, Dance, Design Communication, Fashion, Fine Arts, Interior Design, Music, Performance, Technical and Production, Management.
The full-time Degrees are validated by their premier partner Institution: Goldsmith, University of London; they are in Acting, Animation, Art, Arts Management, Design Communication, Fashion Design and Textiles, Fashion Media and Industries, Film, Fine Arts, Interior Design, Music, Musical Theatre and Product Design.
The Post-Graduate programmes are in Art Therapy, Arts and Cultural Leadership, Arts Pedagogy and Practice, Asian Art Histories, Creative Writing, Design and Fine Arts. In addition, there are short courses.
