ELS holiday programme students perform in concert
KUCHING: The annual holiday programme concert by English Language Tuition Centre (ELS) was held at MBKS Auditorium on Friday (Dec 14).
A total of 70 students in the holiday programme put up 22 performances including drama, singing and dancing.
“This year, we have over 100 children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds including China, South Korea and Australia.
“It has been a privilege for ELS to support these students in developing their memorising, language and performing skills and boost their self-confidence through daily practice,” added principal Rebecca Lee.
She commented that all students have equal opportunity to display what they have learnt as involvement is a vital part of learning. The students had great fun learning at this year’s holiday programme while building friendships.
A stage drama competition between the seven houses during the concert saw Barrie House (Year 2) under Thomas Lim winning a trophy and gifts.
