-

SIBU: KTS Trading Sdn Bhd, Quantum Evershine Sdn Bhd and Sri Minyak Sdn Bhd have jointly raised RM6,000 meant to help and support the Association of Children With Special Needs Sibu (ACSNS).

Separately, Shell Timur Sdn Bhd also donated school bags to ACSNS during a simple presentation ceremony at Agape Centre on Saturday, where ACSNS treasurer Jimmy Sim represented the president Kapitan Dato Janet Lau Ung Hie to receive the donation.

Speaking after the Christmas charity show held earlier, Sim said ACSNS currently had around 10 staff members to run and monitor the activities of the children under their charge.

He said most of the financial support received by the association came from public contributions and also government grants.

“However, we still require financial assistance to conduct our yearly activities and we look forward to receiving generous contributions from members of the public,” he added.
