FAME holds Info Day for UEC students
KUCHING: FAME International College ( FAME) is holding Information Day from today until Sunday,9am to 4pm, at its premises for January 2019 intake.
The college has exclusive deals for Unified Examinations Certificate ( UEC) students who enrolled for January 2019 intake, including free laptops, and/or colour printers and/or registration fee waiver (terms and conditions apply).
In addition, they may also attend International English Programme ( FIEP) worth RM2,699 for free. UEC students who scored an ‘A’ can enjoy cash rebate of RM500 while those who obtain ‘B’ get cash rebate of RM150.
FAME’s Certificate in Business Studies provides students with basic business management knowledge leading to Diploma in Business Administration or Diploma in Entrepreneurship or a two- and- a half year degree programme at Kaplan Singapore. Entry requirement is a minimum of one ‘B’ for UEC students.
FAME’s diploma graduates have the option to enter the second year of UK undergraduate programme or complete their studies locally.
UEC students who scored 5 Bs and above may enrol for FAME’s University of Cumbria ( UoC), UK, 3+ 0 Bachelor of Science ( Hons) in Business Management, Accounting and Finance, and Bachelor of Arts ( Hons) International Business Management.
FAME is offering 20 per cent cash rebate to students from Chung Hua Middle School No 4. Students who meet the entry requirements are encouraged to apply through the school as soon as possible.
FAME helps students with financial assistance including application for PTPTN loan (1 per cent interest), interest- free flexible monthly repayment scheme (FAME Flexi Pay), credit card Easy Payment Plan (interest free for 12 months) with Public Bank, RHB Bank and Maybank or withdrawal from EPF second account.
Certificate, foundation, diplomas and CAT classes will commence on Jan 7 while undergraduate study will commence on Jan 14. PTPTN loan application submission deadline is January 5.
Students are advised to bring along their UEC results and MyKad for consultation and registration during Information Day.
