Fajar’s January 2019 intake opens for enrolment

MIRI: School leavers are encouraged to enroll for January 2019 intake at Fajar Internatio­nal College ( FIC) now.

As the only college approved by Department of Occupation­al Safety and Health ( DOSH) Malaysia, Fajar’s Diploma in Occupation­al Safety and Health ( DipOSH) is the perfect pathway for aspiring safety and health officers (SHOs), with many graduates successful­ly getting their ‘Green Book’ and becoming registered SHO.

According to a press statement fromthecol­lege,DipOSHgrad­uates have the alternativ­e to apply from DOSH for ‘Yellow Book’ which is mandatory for those who intend to work as a constructi­on site safety supervisor, by attending module 6 of Site Safety Supervisor­s course, or accumulate a 6-month working experience in the constructi­on field after obtaining their diploma.

Other programmes open for intake include Diploma in Human Resource Management, Diploma in Accounting, Diploma in Business Studies, and Certificat­e in Business Studies.

Meanwhile, Fajar Internatio­nal College held its 2018 Graduation ceremony at Pullman Hotel Miri on Sept 28 saw Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye, chairman of National Institute of Occupation­al Safety and Health ( NIOSH), Malaysia presenting the scrolls to 301 graduates from Diploma in Occupation­al Safety and Health, Diploma in Human Resources Management, Diploma in Accounting, Diploma in Business Studies, Executive Diploma in Occupation­al Safety and Health, Executive Bachelor in Occupation­al Safety and Health, Bachelor of Science ( Honours) in Occupation­al Safety, Health and Environmen­t and Bachelor of Applied Management.
