-

KUCHING: Fabba, the ultimate Abba tribute band has arrived in the city and is eager to perform for the Kuching crowd today at 8pm at Pullman Kuching.

Established in 1996, the band was initially known as Fabba Girls and in 2000 auditions were held to find Benny, Bjorn, a drummer and bass player to complete the band.

Since 2000, Fabba has taken the music and costumes of Abba and became so popular they performed in a 10,000 seat stadium in full capacity at Hanoi, Vietnam. They even received an award for ‘Best Live Australian Show Band’ in 2012.

For their maiden performance in Kuching, Fabba promises a fun, energetic, visually captivating, musically brilliant show that engages the audience in a tribute performance Abba fans would never forget.

“To encourage concert goers to come dressed in Abba costumes, we will be giving special prizes for Best Dressed Male and Female on the night of the concert,” said Chris, the spokesperson for Fabba’s upcoming concert and the man responsible for bringing the band all the way from Australia.

The concert at Pullman Kuching is expected to attract 1,000 concert goers.

Tickets are priced at RM250 each inclusive of refreshments while children ages 12 and below may enter for free.
