Nargis Fakhri slams a news portal for spreading fake rumours of pregnancy

MUMBAI: A news portal recently reported that actress Nargis Fakhri, who is back in the country for promotions, is pregnant with beau Matt Alonzo.

The report quoted a source from the sets of the film who claimed that she kept taking breaks because she was puking, and later, they got to know that she is expecting her first baby. Not only this, the source also added that she was cranky and behaved weirdly with everyone present on the sets.

Obviously, when Nargis found about this she had to call out what was not true.

The actress tweeted, “Take this down @ TheLive_ Mirror your reporter published lies & not only that he has also body shamed a person that may actually be suffering from an illness. Get your facts right before u publish.”

The article was taken down from the website after her tweet.

A while back, in an interview with a leading daily, the actress had stated she does not let trolling or criticism affect her in any way. She stated, “I don't care or give a damn about criticism. We are too much in limelight.

So, during my downtime, I like to be relaxed and not focus on these things.”
