Limkokwing Foundation offers 300 scholarships

-

SEPANG: Limkokwing University through Limkokwing Foundation is offering 300 scholarships to students pursuing Diploma or Degree programmes in the university.

According to a press release by the university, the foundation was established in 1998 by the university’s president Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing. It has since become an international philanthropic organisation that empowers generations of the future through education across three continents.

“Every year, full and partial scholarships are given to aspiring young talents to harness their creativity. The foundation through its scholarship and financial aid programme is committed to provide deserving but impoverished students all over the world tertiary education at Limkokwing campuses worldwide,” added the press release.

In 2003, the Minister of Education, Malaysia, gave recognition to the foundation for the most number of scholarships given.

The foundation’s fundamental difference lies in giving opportunities to school leavers not only for academic achievements but also those talented in sports, art and design, writing and other creative pursuits as well as the physically challenged.
