SIDS Sibu lines up three major events for the year

SIBU: The Sarakup Indu Dayak Sarawak ( SIDS) Sibu is organising three major events this year, according to its chairperson Angelyn Uchi Maseng.

The events are Sarawak Pua Kumbu Weaving Competition, Sibu Division Pre- Gawai celebration and SIDS Sibu’s 30th anniversary celebration.

Also in the calendar is its annual general meeting in March to be held at Paramount Hotel here.

“This year our election emphasised.

Angelyn said this during an exco meeting held last Saturday is year,” not she afternoon.

Advisors Dato Alice Jawan and Catherine Nain Abit also attended the meeting.

Alice is also SIDS president, secretary- general of the Sarawak Dayak National Union ( SDNU) and the permanent secretary to the Ministry of Public Utilities.
