Kapit Foochow Association announces Women’s wing new line-up

KAPIT: The Kapit Foochow Association has announced the new committee of its Women’s wing for the 2019-2020 term.

Sia Leh Ching was elected the chairperson during the annual general meeting (AGM) held at the association’s conference room recently, taking over the leadership from Anita Wong.

Assisting Leh Ching are deputy chairperson Tiong Kiew Lang, secretary Ling Kok Hua, assistant secretary Councillor Jenny Yii, and treasurer Kong Pek Geok.

Other committee members are Kong Siew Kim, Wong Mee Eng, Hu Leh King, Chieng Leh Ching, Ting Su Sien, Ling Hang Kee and Sia Su Eng.

It is learnt that the women’s wing of Kapit Foochow Association has some 90 members.

Chairman of the parent body Sii Bang Ee and advisor to the women’s wing Penghulu Wong Kie Ing were also present at the AGM.
