SCCS pledge cards ready for collection

MIRI: The pledge cards for Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society ( SCCS) this year are now available for collection.

Its president Jocelyn Hee told a press conference here yesterday that the pledge cards had been launched simultaneo­usly in Kuching, Miri, Sibu and Bintulu, and those wanting to donate could collect them from any of these venues.

In Kuching, they can be collected at SCCS headquarte­rs in Taman Desa Wira from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday, Vivacity Mega Mall informatio­n counter from 10am to 9pm daily. A Go Bald booth will also be set up at Vivacity Mega Mall on every weekend from April 6 to May 26 (10am to 8pm).

In Miri, they will be available at Somerset Hotel from 10am to 8pm daily while a booth at Permaisuri Imperial City Mall will open from noon to 8pm from April 20 to May 5.

In Sibu, the pledge cards will be available at Tanahmas Hotel from 10am to 8pm daily while the Go Bald booth will be available at Delta Mall from April 28 to May 19 (noon to 8pm).

The pledge cards will also be available at tHe Spring Bintulu from 10am to 9pm daily from now until May 12.

SCCS targets RM1 million from the campaign this year with 1,200 heads to be shaved. It raised about RM1 million last year with over 1,000 heads shaved.
