Father, daughter graduate from FIC with OSH

-

MIRI: Seeing his daughter going on stage to receive her diploma had made Edward Chong proud but what made the occasion even more memorable was graduating together with her.

Fajar International College ( FIC) witnessed this occasion in September last year when Edward graduated with executive diploma in occupational safety and health while his daughter Anthonia received Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH).

FIC started offering the only OSH college diploma approved by Department of Occupational Safety and Health ( DOSH) Malaysia in 2000 with many graduates who are Green Book holders gainfully employed throughout the country.

The college is proud to produce many qualified safety and health officers (SHOs) in Malaysia.

This diploma is also an alternative pathway to join construction site safety field as DOSH recognises the qualification for the application of ‘Yellow Book’, a mandatory document to work as construction site safety supervisors..

Holders of Diploma in OSH can now apply for Yellow Book either by attending module 6 of Site Safety Supervisors course, or accumulate a 6-month working experience in the construction field after obtaining their diplomas

The May 2019 intake is now open. Interested students may drop by the college or call 085- 644803 or email to query@ kolejfajar.edu.my for further details. Alternatively, register online at www.kolejfajar. edu.my.
