KCC Corp president, CEO pays courtesy call on Abang Johari

KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg received a courtesy call from KCC Corporatio­n president and chief executive officer (CEO) Mong-Ik Chung at his office in Sarawak State Legislativ­e Assembly (DUN) Complex in Petra Jaya here yesterday afternoon.

KCC Corporatio­n is a Korean chemical and auto parts manufactur­er, headquarte­red in Seoul.

During the half-hour meeting, Abang Johari discussed with Chung and his delegates the prospect of a collaborat­ion, in line with Sarawak’s industrial­isation programme.

Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, who is also the Minister of Industrial and Entreprene­ur Developmen­t, and Sarawak assistant ministers were also present.
