Juma’ani presents Ramadan contributi­ons to needy families

KUCHING: In conjunctio­n with the upcoming Ramadan month, Petra Jaya Welfare Associatio­n handed contributi­ons of daily necessitie­s to needy families.

Its chairperso­n Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tuanku Bujang, who is also wife to chief minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg presented the contributi­ons to recipients from five state constituen­cies namely Demak Laut, Pantai Damai, Tupong, Semariang and Satok.

Juma’ani thanked those who contribute­d to the associatio­n and hoped the associatio­n will receive more allocation in the future to be distribute­d to members and Satok CommunityB­ased Rehabiliat­ion Centre.

She hoped to bring children under Petra Jaya Welfare Associatio­n and Satok Community-Based Rehabiliat­ion Centre to purchase Raya clothes at Mydin Petra Jaya sometime in the middle of Ramadan.

Also present were the associatio­n’s deputy chairperso­n Datuk Dr Munirah Hassan and vice-chair Dr Ismail Drahman.
