MRC Stampin members bring cheer to patients at Sarawak Heart Centre

KOTA SAMARAHAN: Members of the Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) Stampin District celebrated the ‘Red Cross and Red Crescent Day 2019’ at Sarawak Heart Centre here recently.

Leading the group were MRC Stampin chairman Chong Choon Chiang and honorary secretary Stephanie Phan.

The MRC members then distribute­d gifts and spent some quality time with the patients and their families at the geriatric and cardiac wards.

Later, the volunteers went to a blood donation drive at Aiman Mall here, organised and run by the SMK Kota Samarahan Youth Unit of MRC Stampin.

Simultaneo­usly, MRC Stampin’s Youth Unit from SMK Sungai Tapang also held a blood donation drive at Giant Hypermarke­t Kota Padawan, near Kuching city.
