Marriott serves Lebanese cuisine for Ramadan Buffet Dinner

-

MIRI: Miri Marriott Resort & Spa (MMRS) is serving authentic Lebanese cuisine for Ramadan Buffet Dinner at Zest restaurant starting this evening (May 5) until June 4.

Guest chef Mustapha Hallal from Lebanon is presenting Lebanese culinary masterpieces with the freshest ingredients including lamb frikeh, grilled kofta, chicken majnous, a variety of sweets and desserts such as mohallabiah milk pudding and baklava.

Frikeh or Freekeh are wheat kernels harvested while still green or ‘young’ and roasted to create a distinctive smoky flavour. It is a popular alternative to rice in Middle Eastern cuisine, going well with meat especially lamb. Lamb Frikeh mixed with cracked wheat and spices served with yogurt dressing brings out a vibrant explosion of flavours.

To enhance Ramadan dining experience, guests can enjoy a wide spread of scrumptious traditional Middle Eastern specialties, International cuisine and local traditional delicacies with chefs demonstrating their skills at live cooking stations.

Zest’s Ramadan Buffet is priced at RM 80 nett from May 5 to 12 May with early bird special of four diners for the price of three.

Regular price per person on weekdays is RM70 nett and RM88 nett during weekends including Ramadan beverages from 6.30 to10.30pm.

Maybank and Parkson cardholders enjoy 20 per cent discount.
