ELC teachers attend Melta conference
KUCHING: Twenty teachers from the English Language Centre (ELC) attended the 28th Malaysian English Language Teaching Association (Melta) International Conference that was held here from August 13 to 15.
A press statement from ELC said the conference entitled ‘ English Language Education and Society 5.0: Developing Sustainable Literacies’ saw more than 130 presentations.
ELC sponsors teachers to attend the Melta conference annually as part of their continuing professional development.
Five teachers from ELC also gave presentations at the conference including ‘Creative Teacher Showcase’ to prepare students who are studying Maths and Science in English in 2020.
ELC is running a special preparatory class which will start on September 6 from 2.15pm to 5.15pm.
