MBAi is an evidence-based qualificat­ion with emphasis on management, leadership and critical thinking skills; research; innovation; as well as developmen­t and practice to develop general management focus.

Experienti­al learning pedagogy allows students to embark on workplace related projects. Graduates of Swinburne’s MBAi programme will be able to navigate through the volatility, uncertaint­y, complexity, and ambiguity of their environmen­t in the digital economy.

Postgradua­te by Coursework Award (external students) and Postgradua­te by Coursework Award (corporate) as well as the Swinburne Sarawak Alumni Postgradua­te Bursary offers up to 15 per cent off total course fee.

External students must have a recognised Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.00, while a minimum of two enrolment per company is required for corporate enrolment. Students may apply to pay tuition fees with ten interest-free instalment­s per year.

According to MBAi course director Dr Jee Teck Weng, graduates will attain not just the rights skills but also the abilities and values of a manager or senior executive within their respective field.

Meanwhile, head of School of Business associate professor Lim Weng Marc said Swinburne’s business degrees including MBAi are accredited by Associatio­n to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), a recognitio­n awarded to only 5 per cent of business schools around the world. Students at the business school can expect to receive a world-renowned business education taught by subject-matter experts using industry-relevant business curriculum.
