80 take part in fun Christmas Run

LIMBANG: More than 80 runners had fun during a Christmas Run organised by Ayam Kampung Belusir (AKB) here yesterday.

Besides enjoying the run which started at 7.30pm, the participants donned Santa Claus and Santarina costumes to make the run merrier.

AKB founder Chua Eng Hin said the run was part of efforts to bring out the Christmas mood to the town area.

“It served as another alternative for the people from different races and religions to enhance the existing good relationship and unity,” he said.

Besides promoting healthy lifestyle, the participants were able to share the joy of Christmas with people of other faiths, he added.
