Bersatu members, supporters urged to vote for Warisan candidate

MEMBAKUT: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) members and supporters in Kimanis need to give their fullest support to Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) candidate, Datuk Karim Bujang, in the Kimanis byelection.

Sabah Bersatu chief, Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor, said they need to do so to ensure the Warisan candidate’s victory.

He said Warisan that leads the state government is a friend of Pakatan Harapan ( PH) which leads the federal government.

“As PH and Warisan are close friends, we must help. This is our responsibi­lity as a PH component member. At this moment (byelection), we need to help our friend because Warisan candidate is our friend, the PH government is friendly with Warisan so we have to go down and campaign.

“Therefore, Bersatu members and supporters in Kimanis parliament­ary constituen­cy must support and vote for the Warisan candidate,” he said.

“We need to ensure that Warisan candidate not only wins but also gets a big number of vote this time,” he said during his visit at the Bersatu machinery’s operation room for the Kimanis by-election at the Bersatu Kimanis Division office in Membakut town yesterday.

He said Bersatu members and supporters in the Kimanis Parliament­ary constituen­cy need to campaign and ensure their family members will also vote for the Warisan candidate.

He added that they need to campaign starting from among their family members and then among friends for the Warisan candidate’s victory.

“Bersatu members must foster a good collaborat­ion and relationsh­ip with members of Warisan and other PH component parties in the Kimanis by-election in order to achieve victory,” he stressed.

Datuk Mohd Arifin Mohd Arif who is also Kimanis Bersatu Division chief, Lumadan assemblyma­n Matbali Musah who is also Sipitang Bersatu Division chief, Kimanis Bersatu Division deputy chief Ahmad Yusof, Kimanis Bersatu Srikandi chief Dayang Hairena Ag Basir, and Kimanis Bersatu secretary Surayah Ibrahim were also present.
