The fourth sub-programme ‘Apprentice@Work’ serves to encourage more youths to undergo technical and vocational education and training (TVet)relevant courses.
A monthly allowance of RM100 would be given to any eligible TVet trainee who undergoes industrial training.
“The federal government, under the Pakatan Harapan coalition, is committed to improving the livelihood of the people, particularly those from the low-income group,” added Ling.
BINTULU: The ‘Mini Game Santai-Santai Joran Mania 2020’ fishing competition last Sunday was a good warmingup event for local anglers, in preparing for bigger competitions here.
The event spokesman said the competition would prepare them physically and mentally for the Bintulu Surfcasting
Challenge 2020, to be held at the same venue, the Waterfront Promenade Bintulu, this March.
“This is our second competition, and our first edition for this year. The response has been quite encouraging, whether from local anglers or from those outside Bintulu,” he said.
The ‘Mini Game Santai-Santai
Joran Mania 2020’ involved 230 participants.
The small-scale event was conducted by Kampung Sinong Bintulu Sports Bureau Committee.
Minister in Chief Minister’s Department (Integrity and Ombudsman) Datuk Talib Zulpilip presented the prizes to the top 10 anglers.
