Gamma Automobile introduces all new 2020 Bezza

KUCHING: Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua) yesterday unveiled an all new Perodua Bezza model.

Known as 2020 Perodua Bezza, it is the first upgrade Perodua made for the model since the first one (Bezza) was launched in July 2016.

“We expect about 4,000 units to be sold monthly, and by the end of January, 5,600 units are expected to be delivered to buyers.

“The second batch of Bezza is equipped with various improvemen­ts centred around the ideas of smart design, smart drive and smart safety,” said

Perodua president and chief executive officer Datuk Zainal Abidin Ahmad during the car’s official unveiling ceremony in Kuala Lumpur.

The model was simultaneo­usly unveiled In Kuching; at the showroom of Gamma Automobile Sdn Bhd in Jalan Tun Jugah.

Its sales manager Sim Chew Jin said the 2020 Bezza is priced from RM36,580 to RM51,980 (on-theroad) before insurance, which are now available for booking.

“The 2020 Perodua Bezza is offered in four variants: 1.0-litre G manual (RM34,580), 1.0-litre G auto (RM36,580), 1.3-litre X auto (RM43,980), and 1.3-litre AV auto (RM49,980) (on-the-road before insurance in Peninsular

Malaysia),” he added.

He also said their showroom would open until 9.30pm from today to Jan 12.

With sharp LED headlamps and two-tone side skirts, both of which are standard across the range, the 2020 Perodua Bezza looks bolder than its predecesso­r.

The 2020 Bezza also comes with two new body colours, namely Garnet Red (exclusive to 1.3-litre variants) and Granite Grey.

The four existing colours are Ivory White, Glittering Silver, Ocean Blue and Sugar Brown.

The original Bezza was Perodua’s first sedan, which is said to be Malaysia’s first energyeffi­cient vehicle (EEV) when it was introduced in 2016.
