PSB Dudong offers help to Kenyalang Gold Card applicants

SIBU: The Dudong branch of Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) is calling on senior citizens who need assistance in applying for the Kenyalang Gold Card, to drop by its office here.

Its secretary Oliver Kuo said branch chairman Datuk Tiong Thai King had instructed members to help the applicants fill their forms, having been informed that many elderly folk were having difficulti­es in doing so.

“As far as we know, many have problems in filling the forms. Therefore, members of PSB Dudong branch will help senior citizens who need such assistance.

“Applicants just need to bring along their identity cards and come to our office during office hours,” he said yesterday.

The branch office is at No. 21, First Floor, Pusat Suria Permata Commercial Centre, Upper Lanang Road.

Applicatio­n forms are available at any Welfare Department office, Resident’s Office and District Office.

The Kenyalang Gold Card – to be launched in March – will allow holders to enjoy special privileges and discounts at participat­ing outlets statewide.

All Sarawakian senior citizens aged 60 and above can apply for the card.
