APM TO THE RESCUE

A Civil Defence Force (APM) member catching a 1.5 metre cobra in front of a house at Jalan Lusut Jaya 3, Taman Tunku in Miri. A complainant, 38, said he was shovelling sand in front of his house when he saw a snake coming out of a hole beneath the stacks of woods on Tuesday. He called APM at 5.38pm and they arrived about 30 minutes later to catch the slithery kind.
