Lucky bowlers keep Tay Motors and Frenz at bay

KUCHING: Lucky consolidat­ed its top position in the Tay Motors Twin-Ba le League following a convincing 14.5-5.5 victory over Elite in the second week of competitio­n last week.

Second-placed Tay Motors are keeping pace a er registerin­g a 13-7 win against fi h-placed 8055ku while Frenz scooped up maximum points from their blind-score match to stay in the hunt with the top two teams.

Petra Giant jumped to fourth position a er managing a 15-5 triumph over Lucky Strike as N’Four FS Bowlers, Elite and Strike Hunter occupied sixth to eighth positions respective­ly.

Meanwhile, Muhd Nur Syafiq of Lucky is still leading the Individual High Game Scratch category under the Foursome format with Mohd Amin Omar of 8055ku is ahead of the rest in the Individual High Game Handicap category.

Melvin Gilbert of Tay Motors remained in pole position for the Individual High Series (Scratch & Handicap) category with Muhd Nur Syafiq, Alexiss O’Neil, Desmond Law and Mohd Amin in the chasing pack.

Lucky also overtook Elite to take the lead in the Team High Game Scratch category but are still behind the former in the Team High Game Handicap category.

Meanwhile, Tay Motors emerged as the new leader for the Team High Series Scratch category as Lucky dropped to second spot.

Frenz stay in pole position for the Team High Series Handicap category.
