Legacy of Hope Run targets 800 runners

BINTULU: ‘Legacy of Hope Run’ organised by Advocacy Associatio­n of Early Childhood Educators Bintulu (AECE) supported by Bintulu Resident’s Office and Bintulu Developmen­t Authority will held on June 21 at The Spring Bintulu.

Bintulu Resident Jack Aman Luat said the charity run targets 800 participan­ts to raise funds for special needs children.

He added that through the run, they hope to form community partnershi­ps, attract volunteers and partners who are passionate about helping special needs children achieve their hopes, dreams and full potential.

Speaking at a press conference held after chairing a meeting on the event, he said registrati­on fee for the 5km run is RM40 each for early birds before March 14, inclusive of a T-shirt, medal, goodies bag and certificat­e.

Register at ShareTea at Parkcity and T4 Bintulu from Feb 15. The closing date is April 30.
