Bomba conducts disinfecti­on at Miri Hospital

MIRI: Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Miri conducted disinfecti­on at Miri Hospital yesterday.

The operation which involved 21 firemen as well as the hospital staff was led by Bomba Zone 6 chief, Superinten­dent Law Poh Kiong.

Miri Hospital, in a press statement, said the disinfecti­on was a precaution­ary measure against the transmissi­on of contagious diseases at the hospital.

The operation which covered all the public places and specialist clinics in the hospital started with a short briefing around 3pm and was completed by 5pm.

The Miri Hospital management thanked Bomba Miri for the support to the hospital all this while and said it would keep the hospital area clean and in optimum condition at all times.

As all the health services provided by the hospital are carried out like usual, people visiting the hospital are reminded to comply with all instructio­ns given by the medical staff to ensure smooth operation at the hospital.
