SEA Kre8tif! Award open for submissions

KUCHING: The Southeast Asia (SEA) Kre8tif! Award organised by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) is now open for submissions.

The award is open to participants from Southeast Asian countries for the purpose of seeking and recognising talented animation creators and awarding them for their outstanding works.

Due to overwhelming response from participants outside Southeast Asia last year, the organiser has created a special category for participants from outside the region.

Category A (SEA Kre8tif! Award) is for citizens of any Southeast Asian country; Category B (Global Award) is for citizens of any country outside Southeast Asia; Category C (Jury Award) is for citizens of any country; and

Category D (Next Gen Award) is for citizens of any country.

Participants must not be an employee or director of MDEC.

All works submitted to the organiser must be in full HD or high resolution QuickTime or AVI or MPEG4 file format with a frame size of 1920 x 1080; bit rate (recommended); video bit rate of 10Mbps to 20Mbps; audio bit rate of 320Kbps; and audio sample rate of 48kHz.

The duration of work must not exceed 15 minutes.

The closing date for submission is Aug 15.
