Sibuti PKR Youths presents Raya gifts to frontliners

MIRI: Sibuti PKR Youth yesterday presented ‘Raya gifts as a gesture of thanks and appreciation to the front liners working around-the-clock to ensure the safety of the people here.

Its women chief, Zulhaidah Suboh, was on hand to present the gifts to police and Rela personnel and soldiers manning the roadblock at Mile 8, MiriBintulu road.

“This is a show of our appreciation to the front liners working days and nights during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) to prevent the spread of Covid-19,” Zulhaidah said.

PKR Sibuti Youth Wing chief Chiew Choon Man and Youth secretary Norhafizah were also present.

According to Zulhaidah, the front liners received cookies, flour, sugar, and ready-made ketupat among others for them to celebrates the upcoming Hari Raya. Other front liners manning the roadblock near SMK Agama Miri in Miri-Bekenu coastal road would receive theirs today.
