KUCHING: The political force brought by Baru Bian and See Chee How in joining Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) will definitely make the party become more solid in facing the next state election, said PSB Marudi branch chairman Datuk Sylvester Entri. In welcoming the two elected representatives to PSB, Entri said he is confident both Baru and See will be able to contribute more comfortably and effectively to the political struggles of the localbased party. “Their forces further complement the strength and visionary leadership of PSB president Dato Sri Wong Soon Koh. “I am sure that both Baru and See had given the matter very deep thought as to their decision to join the right political party that fits their struggles into making Sarawak a state that needs to be developed in a holistic manner to give fair, just and equal rights to Sarawakians,” he said in a statement yesterday. Entri added he is looking forward to working together with the pair to make PSB a party that Sarawakians are proud to be part of, and to make an impactful impression in Sarawak politics through their combined efforts for the betterment of the state as a whole. “I am confident that the vast experiences of both Baru and See will further strengthen PSB in order for PSB to be a force to be reckoned with within Sarawak’s political scene. “I believe both of them could see themselves contributing from their vast experience in politics, their fair share of expertise and ideas through PSB for the sake of Sarawak and it’s people,” he said. Baru, the Ba Kelalan assemblyman and Selangau MP, and Batu Lintang assemblyman See, together with more than 20 other former Parti Keadilan Rakyat leaders, officially announced their decision to join PSB during a press conference here Saturday.
