LHDN announces new operating hours for stamp duty counters

KUCHING: The Inland Revenue Board ( LHDN) has announced the new operating hours for its stamp duty counters in its stamp branch office (PSCs) and revenue service centres (PKH).

For Sarawak, every PSC is open from 8am to 5pm, Mondays to Thursdays; on Fridays, its operations run from 8am to 11.45am, and 2.15pm to 5pm, on Fridays.

On the other hand, the PKH is open from 8am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm – Mondays to Thursdays; on Fridays, the hours are from 8am to 11.45am, and 2.15pm to 5pm.

All receipts of payments must be made by 3.30pm – except at PKH Limbang and PKH Mukah, where the payments must be settled by 1pm.

For Sabah and Labuan, every PSC is open from 8am to 5pm, Mondays to Thursdays; on Fridays, the opening hours are from 8am to 11.30am, and 2pm to 5pm.

The PKHs in Sabah and Labuan operate from 8am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm, Mondays to Thursdays; on Fridays, the hours are from 8am to 11.30am, and 2pm to 5pm.

All payments must be made by 3.39pm – except for PKH Kudat, where payments will not be accepted after 1pm.

The PSCs in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Perak, Pahang, Penang, Malacca and Perlis are open from 8am to 5pm, Mondays to Thursdays; and 8am-12.15pm and 2.45pm-5pm on Fridays.

The PKHs in these states are open from 8am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm, Mondays to Thursdays; on Fridays, the hours are 8am12.15pm and 2.45pm-5pm.

Payments in these areas must be made by 3.30pm – except for PKH Tampin and PKH Jasin, where the cut-off time is 1pm.

In Johor, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu, the PSCs are open from 8am to 5pm, Sundays to Wednesdays; on Thursdays, the hours are 8am-1pm and 2pm3.30pm.

The PKHs in these states are open from 8am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm, Sundays to Wednesdays; on Thursdays, the hours are 8am1pm and 2pm-3.30pm.

All payments must be done by 3.30pm – except for PKH Mersing and PKH Baling, where any payment will not be accepted after 1pm.
