Tatai Mas Rawing JKKK to get MRP grants

-

KAPIT: The Tatai Mas Rawing village security and development commi ee (JKKK) will receive a minor rural project (MRP) grant of RM3,000, while its women’s bureau will receive another RM3,000.

Bukit Goram assemblyman Jefferson Jamit announced the grants during a recent gathering organised by the JKKK.

In his speech, Jamit said the close working cooperation between himself and the people, as well as Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi, who is Kapit member of parliament, enabled him to carry out his duties and responsibilities with ease.

“We work together as a team to ensure the people benefit and have a fair share of the government grants. If you choose elected representatives who can work together with each other so that they can deliver the needs of the people more effectively, then we benefit.

“The people must continue to rally their full support behind the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) government led by Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg,” he said.

Tatai Mas Rawing JKKK chairman Dollen Notis urged the people to vote for Jamit during the next state election.

“Actions speak louder than words. Although YB Jamit was only elected four years ago, in May 2016, he has established close rapport, moving around to meet the grassroots, holding dialogues, listening to our plight, allocating funds, approving projects to enhance physical infrastructure, proving he is a caring leader. That is why we should support him to defend the seat, so that he to continue helping us,” he said.

“Election is a serious ma er to vote for the right candidate to represent us in the government. If we make the wrong choice, voting for someone only good at lip service, the next five years, we’ll all suffer and the allocation or physical projects would be adversely affected.

“We would suffer because of no allocation.

“Then, we’ve wasted five years. It is not worth the gamble. So the coming election, please very carefully vote for someone who delivers.”
