Abdul Karim said the knowledge gained from the programmes and courses is a bonus, especially for those who want to start a business.
“For example, this photography course can not only improve youth skills but can also be used to increase their income either part-time or full-time. This is what our ministry hopes for, where our innovative and creative youths are highly regarded, and able to be competitive with foreign countries,” he said.
A total of 50 youths from Asajaya participated in the twoday course which took place from July 25. The course aims at providing exposure on the importance of e-photos as well as improving the skills and digital art of youths in an effort to increase their income.
At the event, a RM10,000grant was presented to the Asajaya District Office for the development of youth and sports in the district.
Also present were Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Ministry of Youth and Sports permanent secretary Nancy Jolhi and Samarahan Resident Brahim Lumpu.
