Travel Malaysia e-Fair project to drive sup­port for do­mes­tic tourism

KUALA LUMPUR: An on­line travel sol­i­dar­ity project crafted by Ab & Artho

Tourism Mar­ket­ing & PR and sup­ported by Malaysian As­so­ci­a­tion of Ho­tels (MAH) is a col­lec­tive ef­fort to help re­vive the tourism econ­omy in Malaysia.

The project is sup­ported by a lo­cal book­ing plat­form co-part­ner, MyRoomPass, ac­cord­ing to a state­ment.

Travel Malaysia e-Fair in­vites MAH mem­bers to par­tic­i­pate and pro­pose spe­cial room rates and pack­ages (Ho­tels Hot Deals) dur­ing a sale pe­riod planned from Aug 7 to 9.

Travel Malaysia e-Fair is an in­for­mal and dig­i­tal event-based project, whereby Malaysian ho­tels un­der MAH and leisure com­pa­nies come to­gether, ex­press­ing the need to help Malaysian ho­tel busi­ness and cre­ate in­ter­est for Malaysians to pur­chase ho­tel of­fers.

The cu­rated travel project is united with mem­ber ho­tels en­cour­aged to of­fer gen­er­ous dis­counted rates for ho­tel stays, ful­fill­ing the ob­jec­tives to sup­port and stim­u­late the na­tional econ­omy and also en­cour­age Malaysians and res­i­dents to go on do­mes­tic va­ca­tion.

“We en­cour­age Malaysians to take ad­van­tage of this pro­mo­tion as the va­lid­ity of the RoomPass pur­chased may be used over a pe­riod of one year from date of pur­chase, de­pend­ing on terms and con­di­tions of par­tic­i­pat­ing ho­tels,” said MAH pres­i­dent, Halim Mer­i­can.

MyRoomPass, as the event part­ner pro­vides the con­ve­nience of buy­ing the room of­fers and book­ing ho­tel ac­com­mo­da­tion us­ing a ded­i­cated book­ing plat­form. — Ber­nama
