Store for lawn mowers, oil razed in morning fire
SIBU: A private store at Tanjong Manis Resources in Tanjung Manis was completely razed to the ground yesterday morning.
Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department said a distress call was received at about 11am and seven firefighters led by Senior Fire Officer II, Irwan Abdul were immediately dispatched.
‘When the team arrived at the scene, the fire had been put out by ERT Tanjung Manis Resources team,” it said in a media statement.
Firemen conducted overhaul work to ensure that the situation was completely under control before ending the operation at 11.43am.
No casualty was reported and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
