DAP Serian distributes face masks to villages
KUCHING: The Democratic Action Party (DAP) Serian branch members recently distributed 700 pieces of face masks to several villages in Serian.
The team, led by DAP Serian pro tem chairman Brolin Nicholsion distributed the masks at Kampung Slabi, Kampung Sorak, Kampung Soran, Seroban and Rasau among others.
Brolin said this was done in an effort to educate the villagers on
Covid-19 as the fight against the virus was far from over and there would be the possibility of facing another wave.
“Although Serian is currently a (Covid-19) green zone, the people should not take it lightly and let our guard down. This is because Serian is a transit city where people from all over the state will pass by Serian before they continue their next journey,” he said in a statement yesterday.
