News stands across Beijing, which normally sell only magazines and newspapers, are prominently displaying the recently released third volume of ‘Xi Jinping; The Governance of China’, as well as two other books about his time as an official in Xiamen and Ningde. Xi has become the most powerful Chinese leader in decades and his official ‘Xi Jinping Thought’ has been enshrined in the country’s constitution.
