Exhibition to feature ‘Belt and Road’ Asean higher education
KUCHING: The ‘Belt and Road’ Asean Higher Education Exchange and Tour Exhibition will be launched on Nov 26.
The event seeks to provide Sarawak students, teachers, and staff with opportunities to obtain special funds to support projects to receive high-quality international education, through cultural and knowledge exchanges, to share the development opportunities brought by the ‘Belt and Road’ initiative to countries along the route, while improving quality of life of students studying abroad.
The exhibition will involve nearly 30 top universities from China and overseas universities, such as University of Science and Technology of China, Beijing Normal University, China University of Mining and Technology, Anhui Medical University, China Medical University, China University of Petroleum, and Jinan University.
Minister of Education, Science and Technology Research Dato Sri Michael Manyin Jawong is expected to deliver an opening speech at the event.
The International Talent Training Programme (ITTP) will also be launched during the event.
ACEC Association will share with students new prospects from traditional education and on the ITTP with all Sarawakian secondary schools.
Various intensive courses are being carried out in collaboration with Shanghai International Studies University, Dalian University of Technology, and Beijing Language and Culture University.
Students need not worry about the language barrier as ACEC Association will assist them in enhancing their language level from zero to advanced level.
ACEC Association also offers the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
Through ITTP, Sarawakians will have more opportunities to study abroad with scholarships.
ACEC Association will also assist students from both Malaysia and China with scholarships.
