Pustaka adopts SMK Agama Miri resource centre
MIRI: Award winning Imam AsSyafiee Resource Centre of SMK Agama Miri was given another boost when Pustaka Negeri Sarawak (Pustaka) Miri adopted the resource centre recently.
According to Pustaka Miri, the Imam As-Syafiee Resource Centre has been champion at the State-Level Outstanding Resource Centre Award for two consecutive years - in 2019 and 2020.
Thus, SMK Agama Miri will represent Sarawak at the national-level Outstanding Resource Centre Award this year.
“In this collaboration, Pustaka helps in improving the quality of service and involvement of SMK Agama Miri in various programmes organised by Pustaka and at the same time Pustaka can also organise programmes at SMK Agama,” said Pustaka Miri in a statement yesterday.
Pustaka will also assist in terms of providing additional needs for the school such as access to digital reading materials, donating books to supplement their available collections as well as professional advisory services on resource centre maintenance.
The collaboration will be used as an educational platform that will be fully utilised as a vehicle to educate the students of SMK Agama Miri to become knowledgeable, resourceful and more proactive individuals.
