ADHERING TO REQUIREMENT

A man is mindful of the requirement to mask up in public as he cycles in downtown Kuching yesterday. The use of face masks in crowded public places and on public transport was made mandatory by the government on Aug 1 this year, with non-compliance resulting in either a fine or prosecution. Kuching District, currently under the Conditional Movement Control Order until Nov 22, is classified as a Covid-19 red zone with 101 cases reported over the past 14 days.
