Three injured after van rear-ends rubbish truck
BINTANGOR: Three men were injured after the van they were travelling in rear- ended a rubbish truck at Jalan Kelupu here on Monday.
The two passengers managed to get out of the van, which became stuck to the rear end of the truck, and were taken to Bintangor Hospital by a passerby.
However, firefighters had to extricate the van driver, who became pinned to his seat.
He was later taken in an ambulance to Bintangor Hospital.
Neither the truck driver nor the other workers were hurt in the accident.

Nicholas Belulin said the accident could have happened around 7.15pm as they received a report at 7.19pm.
Both vehicles were heading towards Bintangor town when the accident occurred.
Traffic police were at the scene to conduct an investigation, he added.
