Mayor distributes face masks
MIRI: The people here are reminded to comply with the Covid-19 standard operating procedure (SOP) to help in breaking the chain of infection.
Mayor Adam Yii gave this reminder when he distributed face masks to members of the public and patrons of coffee shops in Pujut 7 yesterday.
“Wearing of face mask, practising physical distancing at public place, regularly washing hands with water and soap or hand sanitizer must be strictly observed now that Miri is a yellow zone” he said.
Yii distributed150 face masks to coffee shop owners, their customers and passers-by during the walkabout.

Miri is now a yellow zone since Nov 1 due to the surge in Covid19 cases in the district.
