H&L hands over charity bags for needy to Hope Place
KUCHING: Local supermarket chain H&L Sdn Bhd (H&L) recently handed over 74 charity bags sold at its outlets in Kuching and Samarahan along with 20 charity bags donated by the public to Hope Place Kuching for distribution to the needy.
Its marketing officer Lianny Bujang said the small gesture from H&L was to help and support families in need.
“This year’s charity bags are a little different from past years. Our team decided to include a box of face masks,” Lianny said in a statement

Earlier this month, H&L announced the sale of these charity bags at selected outlets in Kuching, Samarahan and Siburan on social view to help those affected by the pandemic.
“In conjunction with the soft opening of H&L Xtra at Eco Mall Petrajaya, we set up a donation bin for customers to drop food and general essential items,” Lianny said, adding that H&L will continue supporting Hope Place.
