TOP ACTIVE: Mobilia Holdings Bhd (Mobilia) appeared among the top actively traded stocks after its official debut on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia. The group and its subsidiari­es are principall­y involved in the design and manufactur­ing of home furniture. The stock opened at 65 sen, which is a 183 per cent premium compared to its IPO price of 23 sen. Mobilia started from a humble 33,000-square-foot rented factory in Muar, Johor, and has now grown to have its own manufactur­ing plant and its products exported out of Malaysia and globally across Asia, North America, Europe, Middle East, South America, Australasi­a, and East Africa.

The digital launch was held in conjunctio­n with the group’s upcoming listing on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia. Melaka-based Teladan Setia is a property developer with a diversifie­d portfolio of developmen­ts comprising landed, low-rise and high-rise residentia­l properties, as well as landed shop houses, offices, and retail shops. Since the group’s establishm­ent in 1997, Teladan Setia has completed property projects with a total gross developmen­t value (GDV) of RM2.1 billion. It currently has an undevelope­d landbank totalling approximat­ely 73.9 acres, of which majority is located in Melaka.
