Serba Dinamik presents RM16,500 in aid to fire victims

BINTULU: The community of Pa Derung, whose longhouse was razed to the ground on March 19 leaving 11 families homeless, recently received a corporate donation of RM16,500 from Serba Dinamik Sdn Bhd.
The sponsored relief, under the company’s humanitarian and disaster relief mission, benefi ed the Pa’Derung community with the provision of solar and gas cylinders to each family, cash and other necessities.
Village chief Caleena Sakai accepted the aid which was later distributed to the fire victims.

Labuan operations Zainulabidin Ismail said the aid is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility programme.
“Although it’s just a small donation hopefully it would be able to ease their burden,” he said when presenting the aid.
Mulu assemblyman Dato Gerawat Gala who a ended the event thanked Serba Dinamik for going the extra mile to assist those in need.
“This means a lot, not only to the Pa Derung community but also to the community in Bario. To me this is a very genuine and very big gesture for the whole community in Bario,” he said.
The event, held at KK Homestay in Bario, was a ended by Serba Dinamik vice president of East Malaysia and Labuan operations Sofri Sela, and general manager Anjelina Nee.
