Top military brass visit Kapit hybrid field hospital

-

The First Infantry Division Commander Maj-Gen Datuk Dzulkafli Jaafar and Ninth Infantry Brigade Commander Brig-Gen Shamshor Jaafar were the top military brass who went to inspect the hybrid field hospital at Dewan Masyarakat Melayu in Kampung Muhibbah Bletih here yesterday.

They came early to await the arrival of Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr James Masing at the site.

The hybrid field hospital is the first one set up in Sarawak to complement Kapit Hospital, which is currently overcrowded with Covid-19 patients.

Jointly run by the Armed Forces and the Health Ministry, the field hospital also serves to supplement the services provided by other health facilities here, in the fight against Covid-19.

Lt-Col Dr Saiful Anuar is tasked with setting up the hybrid field hospital.
